The AMX-13 light tank is a French design at Issy-les-Moulineaux in 1946. The name "13" corresponds to his weight of 13 tons. Its crew is of three men.
It entered service in 1953 in the French military. It exists in numerous versions as to the 75mm gun (Model Miniature version presented in this kit), with the 90mm gun from the year 1964 or the 105 mm gun in the 1970s.
Since 1987 production The AMX-13 is stopped, however, you can still find replacement parts in the French company Nexter (successor of Giat Industries).
